SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING)
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING) (Branch Head) of the Code 109.12, Network and Telecomm Branch of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
- You will serve as a branch head, responsible for a wide range of Information Technology (IT) projects, programs and IT activities to support PHNSY and IMF.
- You will provide long and short range, capital and strategic planning; development and implementation of systems and projects.
- You will provide workforce analysis and planning, policy standards guidance and development.
- You will provide resource and logistical management, and supervisory oversight for a team of IT Specialists.
- You will assign and review work of subordinates and identify training needs.
- You will provide authoritative technical and administrative assistance for all programs within area of responsibility.
- You will manage and execute local processes, protocols and procedures within AOR and ensure team is performing work in compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, developing or implementing information systems or projects; developing policy and standards guidance, and supporting resource and logistical management for an Information Technology or Cyber Security program.
